2017 Clarinet Section
I designed this t-shirt for the 2016-2017 clarinet section to wear as a part of the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh!’s casual “Mav’rik” uniform. Each year, the section gets a new shirt to wear during the band’s many performances on Picnic Day, and they are usually full of inside jokes and obscure references.
I tried to capture last year for the clarinet section by focusing on the biggest inside jokes: captioning photos of section members with the phrase, “That feeling when…” and winning the section award “Broken Record,” earned for our habit of incessantly playing the beginning of the chorus to Beyonce's “Love On Top.”
